‘Gift A Book and Get A Friend’: KV Pattom children to gift Books to Govt UPS Palkulangara

There is no better way to make a friend but gifting a book. That is what the members of Readers’ Club at KV Pattom think when they collect books from students and teachers of the school to gift them to the children at Govt. Upper Primary School, Palkulangara, a not so privileged school in the city, to enrich their school library.

‘Gift A Book and Get A Friend” Programme has been organized by KV Pattom in connection with the International School Library Month (ISLM) 2013, celebrated in school libraries globally. The aim of this initiative to connect with the people outside the school and share the resources with them.

The students with the collected books will visit UPS Palkulangara on 31st October 2013. They will interact with them and engage in group activities. The donated books will become part of the small library at the school.
